We recently introduced several dog-friendly rooms in our Terraces building at our Ogunquit hotel so we thought it would be a great time to highlight some of the best dog-friendly spots in Ogunquit!
Ogunquit Dog Park
Less than a 5 minute drive from The Admiral’s Inn is the Ogunquit Dog Park! The one acre dog park is fully fenced with double gates, and there is a separate section for small dogs. There is quite a bit of shade, and a sunny area in front for cold winter days.
Ogunquit Beach is a beautiful 3 mile long sandy beach located just a 12 minute walk or short drive from The Admiral’s Inn. Dogs are allowed on the beach at any time from September 9 until March 31.
Mount Agamenticus is a 15 minute drive from the hotel and provides numerous walking trails and scenic views. Consisting of over 10,000 acres and 40 miles of trails, there’s plenty to explore.
Marginal Way is a scenic coastal walk connecting the main Ogunquit village with Perkins Cove. The walk is just over a mile long with plenty of benches along the way to sit and admire the views. Dogs are allowed on Marginal Way from October 1 until March 31.
The Greenery Cafe
Serving breakfast and lunch, The Greenery Cafe is one of our favorite dog-friendly spots in Ogunquit. Stop in for delicious baked goods and hearty chicken pot pies & meatloaf sandwiches.
Northern Union is a lovely wine bar serving American dishes and tapas. Dogs are allowed in the outdoor area where they feature a fire pit to keep everyone toasty on colder nights.
Cornerstone Artisanal Pizza
A dog friendly pizza restaurant with a great craft beer selection in the village center. Cornerstone Artisanal Pizza is about a 7 minute walk from the hotel and dogs are allowed on their outdoor patio.
The Patio Bar at The Admiral’s Inn
You don’t have to travel far to find a fun dog-friendly cocktail bar! The Patio Bar at our Ogunquit hotel is open 7 nights a week serving cocktails, wine, beer, spirits & more. Plus, the large fire pit provides a cozy, toasty place to sit and enjoy an evening.
