Just a 15 minute drive from the hotel, Mt Agamenticus is a great place to spend the day outdoors. Dogs are allowed year-round. Provides plenty of hiking trails for all experience levels. This is a great place for leaf peepers to visit in the fall.
Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge
Featuring several miles of walking trails along the ocean/estuary, this nearby wildlife refuge just north of Ogunquit is a wonderful place for a stroll or to spot wildlife. Dogs are allowed year-round.
Ogunquit Dog Park
Featuring an enclosed area and dog-friendly walking trails, the Ogunquit Dog Park is near the hotel and is a great place to let your pooch roam during your pet friendly vacation at The Admiral’s Inn.

Walk Marginal Way
Connecting the village of Ogunquit and Perkins Cove, Marginal Way is a mile-long paved cliff walk boasts scenic rocky coastline and famous views. Perkins Cove is a little section of Ogunquit with many shops, lobster shacks and beautiful views. Take a stroll along the Cove’s footbridge and admire the boats and sea air while enjoying a lobster roll or a scoop of locally made ice cream. It’s just a 5-minute walk from the inn.
Ogunquit Trolley Company
Enjoy the breathtaking sights on a trolley ride in Ogunquit, Maine. They run 8 trolleys on a regular schedule and offer trolley rentals for special events and weddings.

Ogunquit Beach
Rated one of the top 10 beaches in the country, Ogunquit Beach stretches 3.5 miles along Maine’s southern coast. Enjoy swimming, sunbathing or searching for seashells in the summer or long walks along the ocean during fall & winter. Dogs are allowed between September 9 – March 31.
